Visitor’s Guide
Although Wootton Bridge straddles the busy Ryde to Newport Road (A3054), there are enough local attractions to persuade anyone passing through to take a short while to explore both the village and the surrounding area.
Visitors can park in the Brannon Way car park and pick up one or more of the village walks guides from outside of the Help & Information Centre. Parking is free for up to 1 hours stay, but please obtain a ticket from the machine. Alternatively, buses run through the village approximately every 10 minutes with several request stops throughout the length of the High Street.
Along with a number of historic and rural walks, there are several pubs, the community centre, a cafe and a hotel serving food and drink throughout the day at a range of prices to suit every budget.
An eclectic range of retail outlets and Take-Aways on the High Street offer plenty of choice with the benefit of a semi-rural community.
