The Isle of Wight Council’s Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders:
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: –
The Isle of Wight Council (Park Road, Wootton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Friday 21 March 2025 until 1700 hours on Friday 9 May 2025, or when the works has been completed, Park Road will be closed between its junctions with Station Road and Cycle Track from Newport to Wootton. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Newport to Wootton, Wootton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Cycle Track Closure) Order No 3 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Monday 24 March 2025, and Wednesday 26 March 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Cycle Track from Newport to Wootton, Wootton, from its junction with Park Road, and its junction with Station Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage and excavate works.
